Collider’s Directors on Directing panel at San Diego Comic-Con brought us the best teaser trailer we weren’t expecting. Tim Miller, Chad Stahelski, and Andrew Stanton joined Collider’s Steve Weintraub to discuss their upcoming projects with a surprise debut of the John Wick: Chapter 4 teaser trailer and an official new poster.

Keanu Reeves is set to reprise his role as the titular character in what appears to be yet another explosively incredible addition to the story centering around a man and the lengths he’ll go to for his pup, Daisy. While the film was originally going to premiere this year, production halts pushed it back to March 24, 2023. And that’s thankfully less than a year to go now!

The John Wick: Chapter 4 teaser trailer begins with a: have you given a thought to where this ends? and features a mass surplus of new villains for the character to fight against. Whatever weapon he could pick up, whoever stands in his way, the new teaser is nothing short of an incredible snippet we can’t get enough of.

The teaser’s opening sentence makes for much to debate about where the Lionsgate franchise could go. As something that continues to bring box office revenue as well as highly rated films by fans and critics alike, it’s hard to think the end can be near even when all things must come to that point. Still, for now, we’ll be basking in the glory of Keanu Reeves back on our screens. The actor will also be starring in BRZRKR, which also made its debut at the convention.

The new film will also be starring Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Ian McShane, Natalia Tena, and more.
