If you have been watching Bridgerton Season 2, then there’s no doubt that you fell in love with Kate Sharma and Anthony Bridgerton too.

Bridgerton Season 2 introduced the audience to Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), a headstrong, intellectual, the bane of Anthony Bridgerton’s (Jonathan Bailey) existence. Bridgerton viewers witnessed Kate and Anthony fall head over heels over the course of eight episodes. It was the ideal regency romance for a Netflix binge.

We squealed every time Kate and Anthony graced the screen with their yearning and soft touches, so here are the cutest ‘Kanthony’ moments that make us swoon. We would include all of them, but we’ve narrowed them down to ten.

Their First Meeting

The meet-cute on horseback. The very first encounter between Kate and Anthony turns into an impromptu race, which makes perfect sense given that these two beings are both competitive and stubborn. Sparks fly from the moment they meet, but this is still a low-key flirtation session compared to what’s to come.

This is where we see them without the weight of their duties hanging over them; there is a sense of freedom, and, of course, Anthony Bridgerton is smiling for the first time because little does he know that he has met his match.

The Bee Sting

Many of Anthony’s decisions, good and bad, have been influenced by the tragedy of his father’s death and, notably, his unwavering devotion to his family. It also results in a harrowing fear of bees and loss for Anthony.

In this scene, a bee appears and stings Kate while bickering once more. Anthony becomes frantic as he tries to make sure she’s okay. She then tries to calm him down by placing his hand on her heart, where she is stung by the bee. It’s another moment of intense gazing, with each of them questioning if they should suppress their growing attraction and feelings. This is the moment where things change for Kate and Anthony as they see each other in a whole new light.

First Dance

The tension is palpable as they dance to the instrumental cover of “Dancing on My Own,” as they can no longer deny their growing feelings for one another. Looks of longing and romantic tension — it is what we needed up to this point.

The sheer desire in Anthony’s eyes cannot be overlooked as he watches Kate with a focused gaze, and the two cannot seem to take their eyes off of each other even for a moment. They move in perfect sync, their eyes never waver, continuing the conversations they’ll refuse to acknowledge as if they’re the only two people in the room, knowing that the mix of contentment and fire burning between them is something they’ll never find anywhere else.

The very idea of Kate leaving for India is something Anthony cannot bear to think about.

The Bane of His Existence

This scene shook us to our cores: Anthony confessing his desires and leaving Kate on the verge of emotional ruin. As he dismisses the Sheffields at the dinner (in defense of the Sharmas), he declares his feelings for Kate when he is alone with her and the reason why he can’t marry her sister.

His “honor is hanging by a thread that grows more precarious with every moment I spend in your presence. You are the bane of my existence. And the object of all my desires.” How does one respond to that? Kate is left speechless as he gradually approaches her, as she also admits to sharing the same feelings.

First Kiss

It finally happened after we all shouted at the screen, waiting for them to kiss.

Edwina finally recognizes Anthony’s feelings for her sister and cancels the wedding. After the ceremony is canceled and everyone departs, Kate and Anthony are left alone in a majestic altar surrounded by divine flowers and grand lighting. Kate asks for a few moments of silence, and the two stand still in each other’s presence, exchanging eager stares before they both have to leave and face reality.

This is the first time the two give up their honour, accept their emotions, and let their hearts take control. They kiss for the first time without thinking about what will come next. This is a memory we’ll never forget — and it might be one of TV’s best first kisses.

All I find myself thinking about, all I find myself being able to breathe for is you

I am a gentleman,” Anthony says throughout the season to remind himself to stay in control and preserve his honour. But he finally snaps in one of the show’s most romantic scenes. When Anthony and Kate realize they can’t stay away from each other, as Anthony says, “It is maddening how much you consume my very being.”

All I find myself thinking about, all I find myself being able to breathe for is you,” he admits to her under the stars. After the tension and desire built throughout the season, they finally give in to their desires and experience a passionate night of pleasure under the moonlight, a moment we can’t stop talking about.

Final Dance

They dance to a classical rendition of “Wrecking Ball” with no regard for who is watching (bear in mind everyone is watching). Kate asks him if he wants to stop, to which Anthony responds swooningly, “Just keep looking at me. No one else matters.

After going by familial duties, they finally put their needs and wants first, and they choose to love each other openly despite gossip and judgment. This is a small scene, but it represents the official start of their relationship, where they can be together without fear of damaging their reputations or shaming their families. They also force everyone to witness their chemistry publicly, which has made some single ladies at the ball envious, us included.

Declarations of Love

Viscount Bridgeton finally admits his love to Kate — the moment we’ve all been waiting for. He says, “I know I am imperfect, but I will humble myself before you because I cannot imagine my life without you.

Anthony and Kate are in love with one another, and that’s apparent to everyone after all their risky encounters and hiding from the eyes of the ton. As Kate admits her love for Anthony, Anthony’s ecstatic smile cannot be suppressed. The two share a passionate kiss in the garden after she accepts his proposal, using her full name Kathani Sharma to solidify promises.

While neither were looking for a love connection before they met, the viscount and future viscountess can no longer deny the nature of their relationship. After an entire season of watching our leads suppress their emotions, it’s satisfying to see them finally choose love. “I want a life that suits us both,” Anthony says to Kate, viewing her as his equal as they choose each other.

Pall Mall Part 1

They show their competitive sides during a game of Pall Mall, and we see how well Kate fits in with the Bridgertons. Kate and Anthony make the perfect couple because they face many of the same issues following their duties.

As they try to beat each other, their balls end up in the mud, and they have to go and retrieve them, which leads to one of their playful moments. This scene’s playful flirting is exquisite. Whether it’s Anthony’s outrage at Kate knocking his ball into the bushes or Kate’s laughter when they both land in the mud, this entire segment proves they’re made for each other.

Happy Ever After

Following the time jump of Kate and Anthony’s wedding, we see the newlyweds about to play Pall Mall with the rest of the Bridgertons, and not before they take their sweet time as they are still in bed engrossed in each other.

The two can’t take their hands off each other, and the final scene features a kiss between the two, expressing their love and devotion to each other, symbolizing a happily ever after.

Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley deserve a lot of credit for conveying simmering heat with just a brush of their hands. There are so many wonderful Kanthony scenes that it was difficult to narrow them down. You will find us talking about them for months to come and crushing on our viscount and viscountess. We can’t wait to see our favorite couple in future seasons, and we are sure they will still bicker like an old married couple.
