And once again, Netflix comes running in with an addition into the holiday season with an exemplary premiere. Season two of The Witcher premieres December 17 exclusively on Netflix, and we are already itching to toss all our coins.
#WitcherCon is currently going strong and the goodies keep coming with extras, itty bitty teasers, and all the photos that are making us actually jump up from our seats. We get a few tiny glimpses of Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Ciri (Freya Allan) as the women take us behind the scenes in the short clip seen her.
The season two cast of The Witcher also features a plethora of new faces, including some familiar faces from shows like Bridgerton and Outlander, all of whom we cannot wait to see grace our screens in their new roles. And me? I’m fine. Just damn near losing my mind thinking of the new score we’ll get in season two because The Witcher’s score cannot be topped in the fantasy realm right now.
When we last left saw our favorite characters, Geralt and Yennefer had split apart, but Geralt and Ciri finally united, and thus season two is going to give us all the feels we know separations generally bring forth.
In another video, Netflix has also released each of the episode titles.
- “A Grain of Truth”
- “Kaer Morhen”
- “What Is Lost”
- “Redanian Intelligence”
- “Turn Your Back”
- “Dear Friend”
- “Voleth Meir”
Will there only be seven episodes or is the eighth (Netflix’s usual standard) still a top secret?
Regardless, we’re in. We’re intrigued and we cannot freaking wait. As we countdown to the season two premiere of The Witcher, we’ll have plenty of content here in the form of scene breakdowns to make the wait more bearable. Stay tuned.
But that’s not all, we’ve got a teaser, and you know what, obviously we’re all losing our minds here. Check it out below and come scream with us.
