Music Monday: “Leave Before You Love Me” (with Marshmello) by Jonas Brothers

Leave Before You Love Me by Jonas Brothers cover

Is it even the beginning of summer if the Jonas Brothers don’t release a glorious new bop? Because that’s what this is, it’s a bop. “Leave Before You Love Me” is just the kind of song to mindlessly jam to for hours on end doing whatever it is that you’re doing.

Sometimes a song has both lyrics and melody. This one’s lacking in the compelling lyrics area where my personal taste is concerned, but it’s so ridiculously catchy that it doesn’t even matter. The pre-chorus is fun enough for me to put that aside, and I’ve found myself humming the melody since its debut.

So really, a win-win for me personally since the Jonas Brothers made their return with their Happiness Begins album. While the song doesn’t fit in the same essence, it’s still one that fans of the band are guaranteed to love and appreciate. The beginning also has all the nostalgic 80s vibes while we sit here and continue to wait for Stranger Things Season 4.

The single also features Marshmello, allowing it to be that much more exciting in everything that it accomplishes.

Listen to “Leave Before You Love Me” below and let us know your thoughts on the single.
