“Let’s Put it Back Together Again” | Nashville
It’s been yet another wonderful week on television with This is Us and Madam Secretary returning with solid episodes. Chicago P.D. broke our hearts, but reminded us of why the Intelligence unit is so special. And Emerald City continues to be enthralling. But Nashville is on fire this season—the last time I found myself struggling to choose a scene within one episode was way back in season three, and I’ve most definitely missed this feeling.
There were a number of great scenes to choose from this week whether it was Juliette’s emotional breakdown with her “angel”, Maddie’s overdo apology to Deacon, or Avery continuing to remind us why he’s such an amazing man, I’ve been at a loss for words. But nothing made me cry the way I did when Juliette felt Cadence’s pee on her. It was the kind of hopeful moment that Nashville is best at showcasing. It was raw. It was heartfelt. It pure. And it’s the kind of promising moment that showcases the amount of growth the Avery-Barnes family will go through and gorgeously beautiful ways. Hayden Panettiere’s organic performances all throughout beautifully exhibited the exquisite excitement of that moment.
