Series: Once Upon A Time
Episode: “Breaking Glass”
The importance of forgiveness — on this week’s episode of Once Upon A Time, Emma Swan’s persistence and kind soul reminded viewers of the importance of forgiveness. Emma trying to make things right despite the fact that what she’d done was unintentional served as an excellent form of inspiration because an enormous giving heart is better than a bitter one.
It doesn’t matter if the person in front of you deserves your friendship, give it to them anyway. Emma’s determination in “Breaking Glass” exhibits just how valuable kindness really is. At the end of the day, it benefits you as a person. You are left with no regrets. Sometimes people are genuinely sorry, and sometimes they’re not, but offering your love to them showcases your enormous heart and gives you a better, peaceful state of mind. Ask yourselves, what would Emma Swan do? Then do it because let’s be real, she’s the most inspiring figure on television right now, and we could all learn a thing or two from her. Anyone with the tragic and lonely 28 years she’s experienced would’ve casted 749 curses by now, but instead she chose to become a Bail Bonds Person in order to do what’s right. Despite being hesitant at first, she then accepted the job as a deputy and later became the sheriff. And just episodes later, she accepted her role as the savior though at times it’s drained her, she’s shown true courage by going above and beyond to make everyone’s lives better. Don’t do to others what they’ve done to you – treat them the way you’d want to be treated. Don’t let your past darken your heart, let it fuel you with the kind of love that’ll inspire you to go out of your way to make someone else’s life easier. At the end of the day, good always wins doesn’t it? You won’t be sad forever. Your efforts and the love you spread will benefit you more than anything else.
